Partnering with Maybank Islamic’s HouzKEY, UEM Sunrise Berhad (“UEM Sunrise” or the “Company”), one of Malaysia’s leading property developers is now offering first- and second-time homeowners the opportunity to own their dream home with zero payment during the construction period, zero down payment, and a 100% financing scheme for ten of its projects.

Under the initiative, purchasers will not have to make payment during the construction period for projects which are still under completion until they have obtained their keys. Homeowners can also enjoy 100% financing at the lowest rate for the first five years, forking out only a refundable deposit of three months instead of a costly down payment on top of extra goodies from UEM Sunrise.

The development is located next to the Kepong Metropolitan Park and walking distance to The Beat, a soon-to-be-opened vibrant waterfront retail offering consisting of a drive-thru Starbucks, a grocer and 21 F&B outlets. It is one of two developments in Klang Valley to be featured under the HouzKEY initiative.

Furthermore, under the Government’s recently extended Home Ownership Campaign (HOC), homeowners will also benefit from stamp duty exemptions and MOT waivers.

“We understand that the initial cost of owning a home for the first time buyer can be daunting which is why we have partnered with Maybank Islamic to provide our customers the ease of mind of managing that process. We firmly believe that the HouzKEY initiative will help more of our customers including new homeowners to achieve their dream of owning a UEM Sunrise home. This collaboration complements our tagline, ‘Find Your Happy’ in which our goal is to help our customers find their happiness through a newly-owned home, making each of their home buying experience a joyful one,” said UEM Sunrise Chief Executive Officer, Sufian Abdullah.
